These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of TidyFello at tidyfello.com (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
TidyFello reads invoices and receipts in your browser and suggests tidy, consistent filenames. The free version renames files in small batches; Pro raises the batch limit and adds extra options such as adding GST, ABN and BAS-quarter information to filenames, folder-sorting, and a CSV summary of the batch.
TidyFello reads text automatically, and automatic reading is never perfect — especially on photos, scans, or crumpled receipts. You are responsible for checking the suggested names and any extracted details (dates, amounts, ABNs, GST, and so on) before you rely on them. Every suggested name is editable for this reason. TidyFello is a convenience tool and does not provide accounting, tax, or legal advice. For anything that affects your tax or compliance, check with your bookkeeper, accountant, or the ATO.
You need an account to use Pro. Keep your login details secure; you're responsible for activity under your account. Provide an email address you control.
Pro is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who act as the Merchant of Record (the seller of record for your purchase) and handle billing and applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are shown at checkout; the amount charged is the amount shown by Lemon Squeezy at the time of purchase.
You can cancel any time from Manage subscription in your account, which takes you to Lemon Squeezy's customer portal. When you cancel, your Pro access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
If you delete your account while subscribed, your subscription is cancelled immediately and you'll lose Pro access right away. Because cancellation in that case is immediate, you won't be refunded for any unused days remaining in your current billing period.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees that cannot be excluded. If a payment problem arises, contact us at hello@tidyfello.com and we'll help.
Use TidyFello only for lawful purposes and for your own records. Don't attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or misuse the Service, and don't use it to process material you have no right to handle.
We aim to keep TidyFello available and working, but we provide it “as is” and can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may update, change, or discontinue features over time.
To the extent permitted by law, TidyFello is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your reliance on a suggested filename or extracted detail that you did not check. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the three months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. In short: your files never leave your device.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted here with the date above. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
